In less than a year my grooming business, Sallywags, has nearly 200 clients

I am very happy to have completed the grooming course with Julie at Dogs Delight. It is surprising how much I learned in 20 days.

It was fun to go to Dogs delight each day not knowing what kind of dog I would meet. I learnt to groom so many different breeds from start to finish I quickly became confident in handling any dog. At the end of the day I always had the feeling that I had accomplished something worthwhile. Seeing the beautifully finished dogs I had worked on was a great reward for my efforts and I knew dog grooming was the profession I wanted to excel in.

Dog's delight are very professional and Julie pays close attention to ensuring that trainees reach a high standard in their grooming. Julie is a fantastic dog groomer, great mentor and grooming business advisor.

A huge thanks to Dog's Delight for encouraging me to start my own business. In less than a year my grooming business, Sallywags, has nearly 200 clients and is now moving from a home business to a high street shop with the confidence to achieve great things.

I would recommend Dog's delight to anyone thinking of becoming a dog groomer and starting their own grooming business.

We came away with the skills needed to start up our own mobile grooming business

We attended the six-day grooming course at Dogs Delight in October 2007.

From the start both Julie and Patsy made us feel very welcome and they encouraged us to relax and enjoy what we were doing. Although the course was intensive, we thoroughly enjoyed it and came away with the skills we needed to start up our own mobile grooming business which is now going well.

We were particularly impressed with Julie's relaxed but professional attitude to grooming and would recommend anyone who wishes to take up dog grooming to attend one of Dogs' Delight's courses.

When I completed the course I was confident enough to work by myself

I did the 20 day intensive grooming course at Dogs Delight in July 2006. It was a great way of learning how to groom as each day there were different breeds of dogs coming into the salon, I also got a detailed insight into the running of a grooming salon.

Julie and Patsy were both so patient and explained everything clearly which enabled me to train in a relaxed and friendly environment. When I completed the course I was confident enough to work by myself and have since opened a salon.

I would strongly recommend Dogs Delight to anyone wishing to train as a groomer.
