- You may be pushed to do more dogs than you can handle

- You are in charge and can decide prices, times etc
- You can run other businesses on the side
- In the long run it can be very profitable

- The overheads are very high
- You have to sign a lease
- You have to be open set hours
- You may be pushed to do more dogs than you can handle
- You risk bankruptcy if things go wrong

- You can work around your family life
- You have no rent
- All the utilities are installed
Disadvantages
- The phone may ring at unsuitable hours
- You can feel lonely
- It can be very messy and you will find hair everywhere
