The City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate for Dog Grooming Assistants enables basic skills required to work in a commercial dog grooming environment as an assistant.
This grooming course is for pet owners who wish to learn how to groom their own dogs or for those that would like a taster before committing to one of our longer courses.

Having attended Grooming Competitions and seen Julie’s outstanding work and professionalism under pressure, I decided she was who I wanted to help me move my grooming on from the basic level I was at. Julie has a lovely teaching style she helped me work on my Westie and Poodle grooming to bring it up to a standard to pass the C&G diploma exam. What is notable with Julie is that she is always more than happy to help, yes you may pay for a days training with her but she is always happy to answer questions and mentor via facebook etc once you’ve gone home and tried your new skills out, she goes above and beyond what is expected from a course provider.

I was pretty nervous about having my little pup groomed for the first time as we had the full service, cut, wash and blow-dry along with nail clipping and ear plucking which unfortunately is necessary with poodle breeds, to prevent infection. Julie was quick and efficient and our lil puppy seems like a weight has been lifted with a lighter coat for the summer. I would strongly recommend her.
